Tweetup is changing its name to “MEETUP”!
Tweetup was a great buzz word for when social media was booming, but now it’s become a little obsolete (Twitter – tweet – promote). “Meetup” describes exactly what it is as some people were confused and a little intimidated by what it really was.
This month we are happy to announce that Meetup will occur on Tuesday June 28th from 6-8pm IN-PERSON! As usual we will be supporting our local restaurants and this month, we will be on the patio at Pietro’s Restaurant at 3801 Watson Rd.
If you’re still not comfortable with in-person socializing, please consider getting takeout or delivery from Pietro’s. If you are more comfortable wearing a mask and joining us, that is perfectly understandable. There is no judgement at Meetups! Pietro’s is a much-loved restaurant in our neighborhood and the owners and staff all treat you like family. We always have a good time at Pietro’s! Meetup is just a fancy word for a happy hour. We meet any time between 6-8pm, stay as long as you like, there is no agenda and it’s an opportunity for you to meet your neighbors, make some new friends, have a few laughs and to sample some foods from our local restaurants.
