It’s nearly time for our monthly Meetup again. Please join us on WEDNESDAY, March 27th any time from 6pm – 8pm at the Afghan Kabob House, 3500 Watson Rd. (in the old Snax building).
This restaurant is a great addition to our neighborhood and if you haven’t tried it out yet, this is a great opportunity for you! They serve great Afghan food that is authentic and delicious (and other items for those less adventurous!). Please note that they do not serve alcohol and as they don’t have a liquor license, alcohol cannot be brought into the restaurant. Please respect this. This should in no way deter you from the great menu and delicious food they offer, as well as the warm hospitality.
So, what’s a Meetup you ask? It’s a happy hour where you can meet new friends from the neighborhood, try out a restaurant you’ve possibly never been to before or revisit an old favorite. Every month we meet at a different restaurant in and around the neighborhood. Drop by for a quick snack or stay the whole time. We’ve been organizing Meetups since 2012; there’s no agenda, it’s fun, and well, there’s food! Just pay for your own food and soft drinks.
