Thank You Doug Dick!

Doug Dick is stepping down from the LPNA Board after over 30 years!  It has been our good fortune to have him serving our neighborhood.  Doug has served as President of the Board and has also served as Vice-President.  He is ALWAYS ready to volunteer at all events and activities.  As part of the LPNA Green Team he picks up trash on the Jamieson exit of Hwy. 44 on a quarterly basis.  Doug participates in all Lindenwood Park clean-ups and regularly works on the gardens in the park.  He participated in tree plantings and even when no one is around, he is trimming trees, watering, sweeping, etc.

Doug served on the Lindenwood Heights Housing Corp. for many years, improving the quality of housing in the neighborhood.  He cares deeply about the Lindenwood Park neighborhood and the City of St. Louis.

In addition to the neighborhood, Doug and his wife Grace are active church volunteers, singing in the choir and feeding the homeless several times a week.  Small maintenance jobs in the church buildings are performed by him.  He has done all of this, for all these years, while working a job and raising a family.

Doug has a clear understanding that it takes everyone doing their part in working together to make a neighborhood and even a city great.  He knows that the best reward is in helping others and we can never reward him enough for all he has done for us!
