One week to go until our next Tweetup! By that time, we will officially be 3 days into Spring! This month’s Tweetup will be held on Tuesday, March 23rd from 6pm – 8pm on Zoom.
We are in the business of supporting our wonderful local restaurants, so this month we will be supporting River’s Edge Social. Please consider ordtering take out or delivery from River’s Edge Social in support of our Tweetup. What is a Tweetup? A Tweetup is just a buzz word for a happy hour. During “normal” times we would get together as a neighborhood at a local restaurant or bar to support them and to help neighbors meet and interact with neighbors. This is a great way to meet people from our neighborhood, find out about what the Neighborhood Association does, enquire about volunteering to help keep our neighborhood safe, tidy and beautiful, meet our Alderman, or just have some great food and a couple of drinks in a very relaxed and social environment. There is no agenda, and this is not a “meeting”. Drop by for a few minutes or stay the full 2 hours – there are no rules. Since the pandemic hit, we have been “tweetupping” on Zoom and picking up food from whichever restaurant we’re supporting.
