Lindenwood Area Senior Ministry (LASM) is a collaborative ministry of five local churches working to support older adults in their homes, as members of their faith communities and the Lindenwood neighborhood.
LASM provides volunteer-driven services that are for all types of older adults. Volunteers also provide services to seniors who need them, such as transportation, Saturday Servants (a home repair program), health promotion and social activities. We are always looking for volunteers and new ways to serve our seniors in the area!
While LASM works through local churches, you don’t have to be a member of a particular church, or any church to participate. We serve older adults who are 60 years and older; but our volunteers are of any age, from 18 up to 90! We are new in the neighborhood and starting to grow.

The City of St. Louis wants owners of multi-family properties to know about a City-wide effort to encourage lead-safe housing.
Put in motion by Mayor Slay’s initiative – The Comprehensive Action Plan for the Eradication of Childhood Lead Poisoning – and conducted jointly by the Building Division and the Community Development Administration, financial assistance is available for the development of housing marketed to low and moderate income families, particularly those with children.
Both owner-occupied and rental properties may qualify for this assistance!

– currently attend a public school
– meet the financial requirements of the free and reduced lunch program
Scholarships are available for private and religious schools, including St. Joan of Arc (in nearby Tilles Park Neighborhood).
