You do not have to be a member of the LPNA in order to attend the quarterly Neighborhood Meetings, but if you would like to join or renew your membership, this is a great opportunity for you to do so – next meeting is scheduled for March 3rd, at 7pm at Watson Terrace Christian Church.
If you are not yet a member or need to renew your membership, it is now super easy to pay your dues online. Just go to www.lindenwoodpark.org/join, fill in the form online and pay electronically (you don’t need a PayPal account to pay – it will just go off your debit/credit card), OR you can send us a check or pay at the meeting – we accept checks, cash, debit/credit cards (sorry, no Venmo). Checks can be mailed to LPNA, P O Box 39036, St. Louis, MO 63139. Renters, homeowners and businesses are welcome to join.
Why should you join the association and pay your dues? I’m so glad you asked! LPNA provides you, the residents of Lindenwood Park, with many events throughout the year: Trivia, Lindenwood Live (concerts in the park), Flea Market, LinFest – our Fall Festival, opportunities to improve and clean up our park, provide flowers for the flower boxes on Ivanhoe, Community Gardens, resources for our I-44 highway cleanup, prizes for the Lawn and Garden contest and various other things that benefit our neighborhood.
LPNA is not a legal entity, we act as a liaison between the city officials and our neighbors. We are all volunteers and work hard to provide our neighborhood with fun events and encourage social opportunities. We have many committees and are always looking for volunteers to help us organize events. Please check out our website to see what events you may be interested in helping with. When you pay your dues online, you’ll see a list of opportunities that you could get involved in.
If you have any questions about your membership, please email membership@lindenwoodpark.org for info. Membership is $15 per household per year – feel free to pay for 2 years if you choose. Dues can also be paid in person at any of our events.
