It’s nearly time for our monthly Meetup again. Please join us on WEDNESDAY, March 26th any time between 6pm – 8pm at the Afghan Kabob House, 3500 Watson Rd. The Afghan Kabob House is not open on Tuesday’s so we will be meeting on Wednesday.
This restaurant is a great addition to our neighborhood and if you haven’t tried it out yet, this is a great opportunity for you! They serve great traditional Afghani food that is authentic and delicious (and other items for those less adventurous!). Please note that they do not serve alcohol and as they don’t have a liquor license, alcohol cannot be brought into the restaurant. Please respect this. A Meetup is just the word we use to describe a happy hour. There’s no agenda. It’s not a “meeting”. It’s just a social get-together, giving you the chance to meet new friends, catch up with old friends, try out a local restaurant you’ve possibly never been to before or revisit an old favorite. Meetups have been popular in our neighborhood since 2011!
Maybe you’ve never been to the Afghan Kabob House before and have wondered what it is like? This is the perfect opportunity for you to do so. Stay as long as you like and pay for your own food and drinks. Drop by for a quick snack or stay the whole time (I highly recommend the desserts!).
