It is again time for the Lawn and Garden Contest sponsored by the Lindenwood Park Neighborhood Association (LPNA).
All members of LPNA are eligible and their front yard will be judged during June. We also want to have backyards considered but those must be nominated specifically by the property owner so that judges may gain access for viewing. Non-members may be nominated for consideration but must join the organization to be a winner (again, annual membership dues are $15 per household – www.lindenwoodpark.org/join.
Nominations will be accepted throughout the month of June and winners will be judged on overall appearance and design creativity. Winners from the last three contests will not selected this time. Winners will be have a sign placed in their yard, be pictured on the LPNA website, receive a gift prize and be recognized at the September LPNA Neighborhood Meeting.
To nominate a garden, please email the address to Doug Dick at dgdick@sbcglobal.net. We have so many beautiful yards and gardens in the Lindenwood Park neighborhood so judging will be tough. Get yours in tip-top shape and happy gardening!
