Board of Directors Meeting
May 23, 2026
Saturday, Lindenwood Park Place – 10:00
Present: Sara Davis, Tim Nowell, Milton Murry, Lisa Roggeman, Adam Rustige, Jay Unnerstall, Greg Todd, Pat Acquisto.
Guests: Eric Kozlowski (recyclewithme.net) picks up recycling from front or back door of residences. Eric is a neighborhood association member asking for promotion.

Neighborhood Meeting on Jun 1st, 2026: Miriam Keller from city zoning department will be the featured speaker.
Aldermanic report: None
NIS: Karen was ill
Meetups: May is Farmhaus; June – Pietros; July-Biggies
Trivia has been moved to July 18th
Flea Market: Attendance was down slightly; 13 venders paid for tables, 8 tables were for LPNA. Profit was the second highest in flea market history of $806.97. We will give $100 donation to church. Proposed contacting Blue Print coffee to coordinate future activities.
Concerts: The first one is on May 24th. Mobile-On-The-Run is now a sponsor and will have its name on a banner. Raising Canes came in as a late sponsor, name can be on a future yard sign.
|Parks: Make sure bathrooms are unlocked for park activities. Adam has a set of keys, perhaps get more copies made. Another set is in Craig’s mailbox.
Gardens: Have used all the compost. Dumping still a concern at Wabash garden.
Green Team: June 6th. Pat will order 3 more “stabbers”, we still need a flat shovel to work on medians
Membership: 41 welcome packets are ready to go out; may have a welcome letter from mayor in future. There are 325 current members, up from 305 in March. The membership drive, so far, has 8 new and 16 renewed members. No coupon feedback yet.
Block Captains: Bob Bettist, from urban planning was the speaker.
Safety: Discussion about getting flashing lights to go into cones on Pernod and Jamieson median for concerts.
Neighborhood Alliance: There are new bar owners at 5800 SW and Dalton
Century Homes: Next push for plaque purchasing will begin in September.
Development: Sent conditions with approvals for Paper Crane, Call It Done and Rebellion Fitness. Will support only beer for Axis. Axis market will have new façade.
Treasurer’s Report is quarterly
Old Business: Email from Lisa with dimensions for dragon sculpture. We need information about moving it and setting it up near the playground with a possible donation plaque. City trust fund could be a possible resource.
New Business:
Move board meetings to 9 am, starting with the August 8th, 2026, meeting
Pat made a motion, seconded by Jay, for ordering 10, double-sided 24×18 signs; 8 for street cleaning and 2 for block captains. Stop signs for pedestrians were tabled. Dumping at the Wabash garden was discussed with the possibility of getting a sign designating it a garden to discourage dumping.
QT: Ellendale NA requested LPNA bylaws; these will be on our website. Direct people to the website for information. Create a FAQ for the website; this could include the QT traffic study, information from QT, and from Lexi Glynias. There will be 15 minutes for questions about QT at the June neighborhood meeting.
Milton announced that he is leaving the board.
