Join us at “Lindenwood Live!”

The third in our series of 4 concerts in the Park for 2019 will be held Sunday, August 4, from 6 to 8 PM at Lindenwood Park.

Gather up your neighbors and friends and come enjoy the sounds of The Melissa Neels Band!

St. Louis Blues Society Logo

The Melissa Neels Band is the perfect blend of blues/rock, playing high energy blues, cover songs and original music written by Melissa. One of the only female lead guitarist in St. Louis, her style resembles Bonnie Raitt with whom she credits as her number one influence. Melissa plays with style, grace and intensity and bending the blues notes to make every note count. Her style is sure to impress any audience.
Melissa is backed by a talented and solid rhythm section. Melissa Neels on lead vocals and lead guitar, Matt McCauley on keyboards and background vocals, “Buck” Buckler on bass guitar and background vocals, and Bud Rager on drums.
Bring your chairs and blankets, pack a picnic basket or enjoy awesome eats from the below listed food trucks! Food trucks begin serving at 5 PM, some of them take debit/credit cards and some are cash only so if you want to enjoy all that is available you’ll need to bring a little green. 🙂

DISABLED ACCESS TO LINDENWOOD PARK CONCERTS

The Lindenwood Park Neighborhood Association is committed to providing access to individuals with disabilities who wish to attend our summer concerts. Access to any of the concerts in the park will be handled as follows for those who use walkers or wheelchairs:

  1. Arrive at the corner of Pernod and Jamieson
  2. The street barricades will be MARKED FOR DISABLED ACCESS. There will be a person staffing the barricade between 3pm – 6pm the day of the concert. Just indicate you need to drop off an individual who needs disabled access. The barricade will be moved to allow entry. The individual needing special access can then be dropped off at the driveway leading into the park.
  3. The person dropping off the individual can exit Pernod via the alley on the north side of the street and use nearby street parking if they are planning to stay for the concert. If you are disabled and driving yourself, let the person at the barricades know that you will be parking on Pernod.
  4. Barricades are removed when the concert concludes at 8:15pm allowing the designated car to return to pick up the person needing assistance.
