SUMMARY:Green Team Clean-Up
DESCRIPTION:We are looking for volunteers to help pick up trash from along highway I-44 and up to the fenced area.  We generally clean up from the Jamieson exit back towards the bridge (just under a mile).  Trash bags will be provided.  Bring gloves!  The more helpers we have\, the quicker we get done. \nPlease help us keep our neighborhood clean and tidy!  Children are welcome to help but must be accompanied by an adult and will not be allowed close to the highway\, but there’s usually plenty of trash along the fences.  All helpers must wear reflective vests (which will be provided). \n

DESCRIPTION:It’s once again time for our monthly Tweetup! \nThis month we are happy to announce that Tweetup will occur on Tuesday June 22nd from 6-8pm IN-PERSON! We haven’t had an IN-PERSON Tweetup since March 2020\, so we are excited to be able to see our neighbors face to face. As usual we will be supporting our local restaurants and this month our restaurant of choice will be Pietro’s Restaurant at 3801 Watson Rd. and we will be on the patio. \nIf you’re still not comfortable with in-person socializing\, please consider getting takeout or delivery from Pietro’s. If you are more comfortable wearing a mask and joining us\, that is perfectly understandable. There is no judgement at Tweetups! Here is the link to their menu and online ordering: https://pietrosdining.com/. \nPietro’s is a much-loved restaurant in our neighborhood and the owners and staff all treat you like family. Tweetup is just a fancy word for a happy hour. We meet any time between 6-8pm\, stay as long as you like\, there is no agenda and it’s an opportunity for you to meet your neighbors\, have a few laughs and to sample some foods from our local restaurants. \nWe hope you’ll join us on Tuesday June 22nd!
